A Cold Reflection - a single vocal take on a digital 8-track recorder over guitars and harmonica - a diatonic Blues Harp in the key of G played 'cross' in the key of D. The song is in a jump blues style, like the kind of juke joint in which the poem is set. All instruments were played by Sharp Noir.

Hi Sharp, I finally got to listen to your poetry and i must say: you are very talented!! It would be really good if you could include the lyrics because i have a slight hearing problem, and i felt like i was not catching all the words. very intriguing piece of work - fantastic.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Donusho; the poem 'Cold Reflection' was posted on this blog on the 8th of June. I have some new work on the way, including more recordings of poems new and old. I will be explaining the full extent of this work shortly, with the posting of my next piece; I have been experiencing technical difficulties with guitar microphones and recording piano.
